This is just a spot for ideas of mine which i think would make the game more fun/diverse, but also will most likely never happen for a multitude of reasons.

1.)Weapon skill based on the weapon: This idea is meant to kind of curb the hybrids in the game. Right now everyone has there main weapon, and then an off weapon, and some form of range. Archers are always far away shooting, but if you get close they pull out a huge polearm/two handed weapon and are able to manual block forever or until help arrives for either party. Instead of WPF making you adept at every item of a certain class(1hand, 2hand, bow, throw, polearm) being able to upgrade your skill with a specific weapon. It will give people a bit more of an identity, Maybe let them name their weapons, Possibly even leveling the weapon beyond just heirlooming it.

2.)Limit turn speed, and have it based on your encumbrance. Right now regardless of what you are wearing you can turn instantly if you turn your mouse speed up. this results in people doing 360 stabs and all kinds of stupid crazy shit while in full plate. If someone is in full plate they should not be able to spin faster then me, just because their mouse speed is retardedly high.

3.) post death stats: After you die show who you hit, and how much damage you did. just a little something to do while you wait for the round to end.

4.) dismounting a player without killing the mount

5.) running mounts full speed into objects kills/injures the mounts

6.)a Roar sound. after i kill a few people in a short handed engagement (2 vs 1, 3 vs 1, 4 vs 2 etc) i want to be able to Roar like a mighty lion, not whistle like a bird.

I like these 2.

I imagine watching some small clips of the previous round to show where you hit an enemy.

this coming from the guy that spends 60% of the rounds he plays building ladder towers, i'm not really concerned with your input.

4.) dismounting a player without killing the mount

5.) running mounts full speed into objects kills/injures the mounts

More like 5.) should cause 4.)  If someone were willing to program it, that is.

That's an exaggeration - he only spends 55% of rounds building ladder towers.

Why do you consider hybrids a bad thing?
Both traditional game mechanics and (dare I say it?) real warriors were rarely specialized in just one type of weapon.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Hybrids are fine in theory, the problem is Hybrids in this game are able to be too good at multiple things that it puts people who dont hybrid at a disadvantage.

You can have a huge weapon with high base damage, Artificially boost its speed by going AGI, while also being able to increase a range attack.

End result is your able to kill from really far away, if the enemy starts getting close you can then out run them 8 out of 10 times, or if the enemy is alone you can whip out your huge weapon and spam them to death.

At this point playing just a sword/board, or just a 2hander, or just an archer, etc. is handicapping yourself. 90% of players have some form of range weapon now, to go with their melee of choice. Its just really frustrating for me, to cut through a group of enemies, chase after an archer, hit him with my 24str 8 Ps in his head from behind, only for him to not die, jump, and while in mid air pull out his boulder on a stick and swing it at me all during the same jump, now this person has an AGI build so they are able to spam their longer heavier more damaging weapon faster then i can attack after a block. lets say i hit them again and they don't die, maybe they have a sliver of health left, then they start running away again FASTER then i can run in heraldic mail. turns fire off an arrow or two, run more spin switch swing bullshit.

Next retirement i will be joining the ranks of people who hybrid. The benefit of 20-30 late level WPF isnt as valuable as say 100 WPF in crossbow/throwing

there are just a lot of things in the game that are ridiculous, and that if your good enough at them you become a really powerful player.

Like in MW:2 you had quickscoping. taking a highly powerful weapon with no reticle you could quickly tap to scope and fire at the same time, and often times get an instant kill, The technique has been around for a ton of games.

C-rpg has those types of "skills" the spin stab, the kick swing,  shit like that which allows a player who is really good at exploiting things that really were not meant to work that way into an unkillable killing machine

100% crushthrough on weapons that also have knock down is another one.
jump spinning attacks or jumping throwing weapons

1.)Weapon skill based on the weapon:
Actually that archer really doesn't have much WPF to put into things besides bows, so really this is something on your end.

2.)Limit turn speed
Turn speed does have a limit. The game devs capped it, although turning up your mouse speed does help.

3.) post death stats
The game doesn't keep track of these things, and there's no way to even get it to keep track of it without TaleWorlds patching Warband. Could get who you killed/who killed you from the database though.

4.) dismounting a player without killing the mount
Again don't think the game can do that at the moment.

5.) running mounts full speed into objects kills/injures the mounts
I EXTREMELY wish this was put in... I'm not sure why it's not. Although there are a lot of small little things on the ground that cavalry run into, being killed by that small rock that somehow stopped your horse would be a little strange.

6.)a Roar sound
There is one if you hold your weapon for long enough (it's kind of random though). This one is at least easily implementable, but everyone would do it all the time >_>
