My favorite is when a dehorsed person just does a penguin slide 10 feet away or you hit someone and the force knocks them back several bodies.
And how!

Hehe, I love it when I dehorse someone at range and then I watch as my allies swarm where it shows him, before he does some sort of "stand-up slide" about 10 foot behind them while everyone stops hacking at the floor and turns in amazement.

Not sure what creates it, but it's amusing when it doesn't cost you anything!

That has always happened. It happens if you get stuck for a few seconds in a construction site and then are released/fall to the ground and in similar situations. But I too noticed that dehorsed riders beam to some other place very often and you hit into nothing.

This. I noticed being pushed away like in a air cannon when hit by some high agi 2h users. This was really a pain when duelling wayyyyne. It never happens with 1h, and only on rare occasions with polearms.

I have been knocked back a few meters occasionally too. And teleporting horsemen piss me off. I can just imagine the troll face if I run at a downed horseman to finish him and he just moves ten meters in the other direction.

Well the Horseman doesn't teleport at all, it's your game that sees his movement direction wrong, atleast I never used to teleport as Horseman, I'd just see people run in the wrong direction and realise on their screen I am going somewhere else, when I'm not, that's when my troll face appeared.

I sometimes see myself standup-glide meters away from where I was downed. But yeah that only happens when my character decides it's time to end his little nap on the ground before he dies. Why the hell does the knockdown from horseback lets people get two or three free hits on the poor soul ?

Because cav deserves it. Alternative: break your bones and loose half your health when you fall to the ground (that would be realistic).

Then, any horse would severely injure and most likely kill any footmen whenever a bump happens, no matter the speed (getting trampled is actually worse than just bumped). And footmen would in no way be able to stop any horse just by standing in front of it with balls of steel.

Depends on how they get downed. Sometimes you can't get any hits in, sometimes 1 or 2. Also, why should enemy infantry get 1-2 free hits from a horse walking over you then?
I voted Gurnisson cause of his fucking bendy pike, I swear noone can roflcopter stab like he can.

Only the best trained horses would run over someone looking very pointy.

Because the horseman fucked up and if this wasn't the case he would be able to continue on as a pretty damn effective infantery fighter without any penalty. Kinda giving the horseman two lives. It's also 2 hits maximum and only if you have a fast weapon. With the new ground collision its actually not that uncommon to get your swing stuck in the ground instead of the rider.
