Alright I owe everyone an apology for the really long wait and lag issues.

First problem was apparently caused by some code errors in the battlegroups mode which were fixed after some time.

The lag issue is still a mystery to us, because the server can easily handle that amount of people which was proved numerous times, including today when we had 100+ people fighting in normal battle mode.

I promise we will do our best to resolve all the mentioned issues and next time noone will have to wait for a long time and no lags will ruin the fun.

As for the result , at the end of the battle it was 6 : 6 so  we should call it a draw and maybe sort it out some other day .

According to the vote, next event will be Arabs vs Vikings. But that is only when we solve all the problems to make sure everyone will be happy with the event and no technical issues will trouble us.

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Yeah sorry for the laggy start, our incompetent byzantian overseers faced some unexpected problems and chadz himself had to intervene to fix them, and some other stuff like team balance were a problem. But all in all this event was all about fun so if you enjoyed this kind of thing, sign up for future events like these which will hopefully have less problems. Coming up next will most likely be vikings versus arabians or another "historically accurate" encounter so stay tuned.

To people in my team, thank you for not making my life too difficult and following my crazy zig-zag ideas, you did better then I could hope.
To the enemy team I say GG, and I call tristan a bundle of sticks for that is what he is.

Until next time.

It could have been a real fun battle, if not for the lag.Half the time I was killed it was during to the lag.

It still wasnt that bad, though.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Thanks for the battles. The lag was bad, but still we managed to see some tactics and some great fights.

And to the knights thanks for listening to my ramblings. You behaved very well and organized. Sry I had to leave you in the end.

Thank you for organising this event. Was great fun!  :D

On the next event, test the server couple hours earlier and try to choose a map that fits for the battle style.
And don't choose such a giant map, that might have something to do with the lag. That map used to made lag when it was in eu server rotation.
