@DoD_Blackzilla
I'm 14, i know people have things to do, i have school every day and when i come home there are around 100 players, yeah i know i can look at the servers too. 100 players is nothing really.

@Gisbert_of_Thuringia
Thanks, i'll look into it,
Edit: Are you sure it is not called "War of the roses"? I cant find anything called "War or Roses"

Thanks for the info though, happy to hear that the db can be easily transferred.
How will the looms be managed? clearly a +3 straw hat isn't really worth much.

I have played this game 2 years for now , I have not played any other game as long as this one, and the time i have been playing this i have played other games like 1 hour per month. This mod especially is the thing why i kept playing this so much, its too addictive, too fun , too many great persons playing it :) . I will keep playing this if M&B2 dosen't work with this mod ! GOOD JOB chadz you took 2 years of my life , But at least I had good time!

War or Roses would be such a wrong title for a medieval combat game :mrgreen:

Ok I'm 15 and I have highschool everyday. I've played this game since the beginning ( when upkeep was added ;). ) And 100 players out of 120 is something. This ain't no MMO or call of duty game where you have millions of Players. I enjoy the fact tht I am younger than majority of the population because everyone has more maturity and I do not hear someone little kid scream at the top of their lungs because they died ingame. This cmmunity will survive!

Yes I know I bright up extra stuff.

Not necessarily, but who wants to play a game thats about english nobles and their armies slaughtering other english nobles and their armies anyway?

The setting will be based on the wars of roses, the rest shall be similar to warband. With a singleplayer campaing and a big multiplayer etc

Pretty sure WoR will not be modable at all, their last game wasn't.

Their persistent progression will most likely be something like the average bf3/mw3 unlocks, we'll see.
Didn't bother reading all the interviews so i might as well be mistaken.

I kinda have my hopes up for M&B2, never worried about cRPG dying.
Too unique, too addicting and too many people who love playing it together.

I'm not 100% sure but I saw their interviews and gameplay videos and I think they said that the single player progression will help your multiplayer character in levels or equipment.

So if I remember correctly it will sort of be like crpg but with smaller servers and the possibility to level your characters even in single player.

cRPG for M&B2 is a new mod, so no, don't let people play on with their old characters. Simple.

chadz already wrote the new CRPG mod for M&B 2 on notepad.

Armagan gave him the source code.

He said he is going to add new weapons types like flails, whips, and dual wielding.

He also said he is adding new mounts like elephants and camels.

I seriously can not wait!

Also I bet Warband 2 will have lots of bugs when it came out. And then it will have patches over patches, if the Dev of CRPG want to port CRPG to MNB warband 2, then let say MNB2 v0.006 is out. CRPG dev port crpg  o v.0.006. Then a week later v.0.007 came out and the dev has to port it again. For chris sake , its takes a great amount of time to port mod and i can tell you that. Beside i am pretty sure that when MNB2 came out it won't have a source code available which means no modders like us will be able to mod.

Warband is still the best game and i will never quit. MNB2 is just a expansion from warband with more items, weapons, animals which is like a mod.

I for one hope they change the mod system to work in a way which doesn't require the horrible re-porting rumba Warband/original M&B need.
