Buy all the weapons. 1h weapons are fun for experimenting--lots of variety there. Switch it up every couple of rounds, and eventually you'll discover a preferred/favorite weapon.

1h and arba might be good I think with investing 3 shield skill and getting the 0 slot buckler. With that you can turn around while reloading and get damage reduction on ranged back hits thanks to the shield.

Well it's not that bad since jumping to the side and oneshotting the horseman isn't that difficult with a mace and the usual 15/24 build.

Without a shield, I have come to appreciate the range on the Arab Cav Sword. It's slow as shit, but hits hard and you can outrange the shielders and have a better chance against 2handers with good footwork.

I was gonna go 1h cav next gen but this sounds like a nice little idea. I think ill go for this instead with my +3 Buckler:
