Hey guys i wanna try something new in crpg the arbalest 1hander and my question is which 1hander shall i use.
Im thinking of
Elite Scimitar
Arabian Cavalry Sword
or maybe other ideas?

Steel pick is solid choice, dependable and a nasty surprise for a tincan. Or broad one handed axe is good. For length go for the sarranid cavalry sword.

I used Iberian Mace, and heartily endorse any blunt or pierce weapon, as I assume you'll be a 15/24 build. Flanged Mace, Iberian Mace, Steel Pick... a lot of 1 handed weapons are very close in attributes, so pick based off of aesthetics and feel.

Depends on your build. The slower you are, the longer you're going to want your weapon to be.

Using a short 1h against an opponent who has substantially higher ath than you is an exercise in frustration, especially if they can kick well.

Let´s think for a moment -

Do you want to focus on ruing a tin cans day? Pick then, but mostly you face wanna-be-ninjas, cav and strays hoping to get a hit in - so basically light to medium armor - maybe a fast swing will work better for you?

You also have the option to say $!"% and go for a hammer and extra bolts or maybe a ladder to leave the need to melee fight behind.

I´d just try several weapons and take what you are comfortable with.

Yeah, all up to style and preference.  My vote goes with the steel pick / iberian mace guys, but it couldnt hurt to try something longer.

Italian sword / (elite) scimitar / arabian cav sword are all worth trying.  Its always impressive to see someone who's good at managing the range on the arabian, since it gives you a chance to charge your swings and maneuver a lot against people with shorter weapons.  95 speed does make a difference though, its even slower than a shashka.  Italian / scimitar are equally matched, up to you if you want eastern or western style, and the regular scimitar is honestly just as good.
