USA banner and the

I voted to keep the banner in the pack. It is quite obvious to me that  the critics of the banner have more of a problem with the USA clan members than with the actual American flag.

It seems most people that are mad about the banner are Europeans. Does anyone ever show up on the European server with this banner? If not why do you give a shit?

Stopped using that banner pack the second I realized that theres Imperial emblem in there but this is just over the top.

Yeah, a few banners totally break the immersion of the dudes swinging huge weapons in rapid succession forever and the animes running all over with 5 arrows sticking out of them.

Just as I wouldn't want to see a Union Jack or The Red Banner I think it would be only reasonable to disallow the US flag as well. Should be removed because it's entirely the brainchild of a bunch of trolls, and that is it's only purpose, to troll people. And it opens up the gate for every other insecure idiot to start parading around with their own country's flag as a panacea for their own failures. We already have a few turks spouting off their religious supremacy bullshit on the mod, you'd think that would be enough.
To be fair though, there are already flags representing a few other countries, like the Fleur de Lys or the Imperial 2 headed Eagle, but not modern day flags. Maybe make a fictionalized equivalent of the USA flag? Call it United Kingdoms of Calradia or something, replace stars with...I dunno, axes? swords? eagles? Something reminiscent of medieval heraldry. I don't know about the bars, I guess leave them as is or again, try to incorporate them in a more heraldric fashion.

Once japanese and chinese stuff is removed I'll understand strict banner rules to preserve thematicity. Until then if it's for an obviously existing clan, not generally considered hateful or nsfw, whatever, add it in. The people who actually consider it hateful or something are a small minority, unlike the people who'd be bothered by a chocolate chip cookie flag (also could that make the banner pack illegal in Germany?).

Not that the japanese and chinese stuff needs to be removed, it's just that being strict with thematicity in one place and allowing completely out of place stuff in another place is pretty stupid.
