Like I said, if all the kinks we worked out and posted on a more official thread, I'd totally be game.
bit late answer, but what kinks do you mean? that we would be pleased with less/no experienced? well yes, so far I see this possibilities:

1) similar system like current battle or siege, which means victory (x amount of frags for one team) raises multiplier by one.
2) not connected to database. I'm against this because we will have tincans all over the place.
3) like 1 but without xp. Makes this mode more a fun mod without the serious grind. Also no one can say that TDM is an easy way for frag hunters to get levels. I would be fine with this.

 1+3 could be exploited by leechers, 3 only for gold. But we need admins anyways, so I see no big problem.

 And a more official thread? This one has a clear poll, the title is correct, what do you want?

Isn't battle basically TDM? Or are we talking about DM? (every man for himself). Straight DM would be great. Very simple: no upkeep (no gold either). XP given only per kill and amount of XP is based on the rank of the player you killed (higher = more XP). I bet most people would play DM over battle.

In Battle, you only have 1 life per round. TDM you keep respawning until one team reaches X amount of kills.

Yes please, give us TDM. I'm not that good player and often die early in battle. It gets kinda boring only watching the others. And I dont like siege that much. TDM would be a great alternative from time to time.

Actually TDM shouldn't be that hard to implement, as strat battles are basicly only TDM-matches with variable amounts of tickets. Why not give us strat battle-mode in cRPG with a predefined amount of tickets.
