There are many complaints that archery does too much damage right now. I wanted increased ammo because if damage is nerfed on arrow heirlooms then you have to have something to compensate, and the only two cariables for arrows are damage and ammo count.
I am also pointing out that two damage is a lot, potentially. When longbows were 24p the only complaints were that it was underpowered by archers and that melee did not care. When it was raised to 26p suddenly infantry and cav etc left and right were complaining, and I personally think that a triple loomed bow plus triple loomed ammunition makes too much of a differnce when every other weapon only gets +3 damage (yet archery can stack the +3 from bow AND the +2 from ammo, kinda imba).
Alternatively, we could subract the damage bonus from bows so they only get +1 at one of the heirlooms, instead of +1 at every level, and then find some way to compensate by say increase accuracy or draw speed or any of the other variables.
