I've already declared myself Double-Pope, in an effort to head off an attempt by any other factions to elect their own pontiff. Any Crusader clans that do not acknowledge my ecclesiastical authority are subject to Double-Excommunication, which is twice as bad as regular excommunication.

Also, Double-Pope's get twice the prize money when they get chosen.

I nominate Goretooth.  Next strategus the Goons can call a holy jihad on the European knights clans with the blessing of the pope and the pope can order the knights to kill each other off (wont that stir up a hornet's nest).
