Trying to prevent the thread from derailment, I propose you people get back at trolling my at-least-I-think-this-is-constructive-criticism.

There are bajillions people applying to become admins. An admin is in no way that "valuable" to stay when there are 10x more complains about that single admin than for any other one. Even if nuffen is "innocent" and if we loose a good admin, there are plenty of people that can do the job correctly, waiting in the EU admin applications thread. So all the complains about "not enough admins" seem a bit strange to me. *ad* You can also play on the Pecores battle server which is allmost never left without at least an admin on */ad*

If you want a good admin team, getting in should be easy, and getting out even easier. Merit > connections, although (and I fully understand) in the context of a community-run mod, it is highly unlikely that people "in charge" will nominate admins without heavily valuing relationships and reputation.

Disclaimer : it may sound like I'm criticizing nuffen for being boosted as admin. It's not. Even if true, in this context it's not a problem in my opinion. However, the dev team shouldn't be blind either.

Just let people comment as they please, you don't have to take everything to such heart. The more you try and argue, the more they will argue back. Thus, a never ending circle.

Either that or it means something you thought constructive, wasn't. I've been known for going on pointless rants and defending cavalry aimlessly without really saying anything when there was never any need to. Once you recognise you do something like that, you readjust your pov and reform your arguments to be a little more coherent and sensible. Be less defensive. Write a well written argument and be done. If people troll a well formed argument, they would troll anything and no matter how much you argue, it will remain that way.

The problem being -on virtually all forums- nobody answers constructive criticism.

You have to be confident that many people will read and (because it is constructive) agree without leaving any sign of it, which is quite painfull sometimes.
