Latest post on this and the 5 strategus threads :)))  I am replaying Morrowind, where I am required to kill off every Dark elf I see.  needless to say it makes completing the main quest difficult, but a lot of fun.

What you got against Dark elfs... :P

Other than Drizz't they tend to be jerks.  Also, they just happened to be the most common group in Morrowind.  Screw the 99%, I represent the 1% - kill all but the ultra-rich.

There was a TES in hammerfell?Wheres this game, tell me!

btw: Next I demand an Elder scrolls game with all Tamriel, would be fine if they just redid all the regions and quests they already have from the earlier TES games(You know, Morrowind in new graphics!Like a Boss!).

So you would basically have a Mainquest for each Province.

Would take long, but not too long since they already have the Questlines and concepts.

Yeah, the Armor is pretty Cool and imo the  most stylish armor ingame. You look like a fucking Terminator in it.And the Boots are awesome for Assassins and thieves.

i've started doing thieves guild and it's been going great so far (90 sneak)  , now i've joined the mages college and dear god i wish i had my destruction lvled better (50 atm, master diff.) , or is it just that frost spells do crap dmg ? Or every single freaking draugr/bear has resistance to frost ?

Protip: Fire against Frost, Frost against Thunder and Thunder against fire.Use Fire against All types of Undead and especially Draugr.

If the Dragon breathes Fire, use Thunder, if it breathes Frost, use fire, you know where this is going.

It actually works, and pretty well.

/edit: Also, against bandits and such, use Fireballs if you have no Companions. They do AoE damage, are cheap in mana and do good damage.Overall, Fire is the best type of destruction magic because all the Firespells are relatively cheap with good damage + Fire is the best against Draugr which you fight very often.

Im using fire against frost dragons and vice versa, didnt know that draugrs are resistant to frost and weak to fire (had that feeling though just by comparing dmg). Too bad cause i wanted to only specialize in frost magic >.<.

I think the problem with magic is that the spell damage doesn't scale up with the destruction skill as far as I know like weapon damage does with 1h/2h/smithing skill. You have to find stronger spells to do more damage and the spell selection isn't big, especially without the spellmaking of earlier TES games. At least in the end game that might become a problem.

Well, its easy to see if you acknowledge that all the Draugr mages cast Frost spells like Frostbite and Frost atronach ONLY.

Woah, slow down.Ofc Damage doesnt scale up, that would make magic ridiculous OP!

The Higher Level you get, the More Spells you can cast in a Row.Combined with dual Casting and Dualcasting Stagger Destruction magic kills anyone.

My Recipe for winning every battle: Spam Dual casted Fireballs at hardest enemy, stagger him and kill all weaker enemies around him(Cause of AoE)until he is dead.

Works fine.

If you think about it that a Dual cast Fireball does at least 100 damage+AoE on other Enemies that goes pretty well if you specialized in beeing a mage. And the next level, Incinerate does 90 Damage even, although i really prefer Fireballs due to AoE and constant stagger because of the High number I can spam at Enemies.
