- arrow speed        -    way too slow...i can almost outrun my arrows -.-
- range of arrows   -    i have a masterwork longbow and my arrows hit the ground as if i was shooting with a khergit bow -.-
- damage of archery    -   i need 3-4 shots for people with tunic over mail  o.O
-  upkeep    -    i had no upkeep for more than 8 rounds....tincan times will be back soon...yeah...
- bow accuracy  -  i have 172 wpf in archery and i know that i'm a very good archer (that's no swaggering, that's fact) and i miss twice as much as before, because my reticule grows much faster and my arrows have less speed and range
-crossbows can still aim for half an hour or longer without growing reticule....you want this game real. ever tried aiming with a rifle or something else for more than 10 seconds? reticule of xbows should grow after 5 secs or something similar

+ more daytime   :)
+ i can hear the rain now^^


that's all for now.....alltogether this patch makes me think about quitting crpg. it was the best game for archery ever, but now it sucks once again  :cry:

not truth.  With real great lances (2m+)? which are anyway for charged strikes only - yes.

But for short lances (less then 2m - most of lances in game are less then 2m) - in reality u could rotate them with pretty big angles rather easiely and hit enemy too.


So chadz completely deleted from game charging cavalry (lance of convenience for example. great lance is too short to be nice enough for such style)), but now he also cut light lancing, implementing  them charging style mechanics, while it is completely not for them.

-increase in cost to heavy lance by 300
-horses speed all lowered and made equal to other horses in some cases(palfray and destrier)
-heavy lance less damage
-the 40 degree lance angle
-anything i missed involving cav nerf(which was tremendous)
-upkeep

+? strat i guess, let the back stabbing and abusing begin  :rolleyes: 
The purpose of wearing plate has become nothing more than crippling yourself to look like a knight... or maybe its my lack of athletics

+ STF for everyone
+ DTV
+ HA nerf
+ archery speed and ballistics, no more lasers and railguns. Hoping to see cool arrow volleys!
+ higher upkeep
+ WPF affecting break chance

- old faces, I feel the new ones varied more

+ 10+ skills working! FINALLY if I GIMP MYSELF WITH 13SHIELD SKILL I GET UNBREAKABLE SHIELD!
+ everything, but:

- cooldown timer of stf
- new armor soak and dmg reduction stats

give xbows a bit of the hold so that people arent running around the map like its a fps/\/\

Maybe give lancers a tiny bit like maybe 45degrees attack radius instead of 40 would really make alot of peoples day.

Just pm fasader, he'll be glad to do it. I also have been told he could allow you to re-pick your heirlooms, but you have to choose between this and respec. And only for achers and cavalry!

Is this a troll?  I pmed Fasader and never heard back.

Did anyone else than Shogunate_Hanzo and me recognise that arrows often just go through the back or chest of a person at the moment?

Don't know what they have done, but it happens alot now. You should directly into the chest and your arrow goes through, although the person wasn't moving^^

Yeah, I've also noticed that.

Also, in DTV, arrows often go right through the bots, especially when they're mounted.

-arrow speed (I have no issue with an archery nerf if you feel it is necessary...lower the damage numbers if you desire.  However, we are now a useless, dying class with the arrow speed as it is.  And truthfully, archers were not at the top of any charts pre-patch, so I don't know why the nerf was implimented).
-lancer cav nerf (If you return arrow speed and we can shoot down some horses again, you will find that lancer cav might be a little up.  A slight increase from the 40 degrees might be warranted).
+strat.
+increased upkeep(increased the skill involved in game...you can no longer crutch on heavy armor every round).

i just saw nebun topping the charts and doing really smart kills (killing maulers and killing support pikemen) defending in a siege. once again, skill is skill... no matter how much you nerf here and there.
