What about the fact that I can't 1-hit-lance archers in gear less than or equal to the gambeson now? That almost makes cav redundant. With the unintentional damage increase of projectiles, we are less effective already, and now we can't even gank them. So we stab them, run off, and get 1-2 shotted and killed.

the insane archer dmg is being solved

The change actually decreased the chance to 1 or 2 shot armored stuff if it works as predicted.

bec is pierce, so no change there mate

They decreased soak and increased resist...meaning I take less overall damage when wearing heavier armors.

The change wasn't drastic. They only changed soak/reduce by a small amount...
So yeah they difference isn't that big. You're going to hear everybody exaggerate out their ass though.
Glances happen less. People take less of the high spectrum equally. Damage output was more normalized. And not by any ridiculous amount.

This does not mean the following: Agility builds do same damage as balanced or strength build, builds are suddenly not viable due to a slight change, Armor isn't worth t anymore.
What this does mean: Glances happening less will make agility builds a little more viable [but still do less damage], your build will still function as it used to, and people in heavy armor will actually take more hits to kill now.

i was one or twoshotting most of my targets before with a SWORD(with exception of heavy str with loomed armors), now i cannot do it with a pierce pole...same build, different weapon and dmg type, yet, feel so weak

this affected my gameplay in very serious note: the longer it needs to kill someone, the longer i have to make a fatal error.
