Only time when I hurt my ankle was when I was playing basketball outside. Was dribbling backwards and just when I was to attempt jump shot at same moment I've stepped on a stone behind me (haven't seen that shit when we started playing), lost balance and in attempt not to fall on my back I've landed on one leg with my whole weight. Nothing broken, but ankle was badly bruised. Not sure how would Xant act in such situation, but I'm willing to hear.

Weird......ankle sprains are listed as the #1 most common sports injury....just not for guys like xant. He's a rare specimen, a true athlete, intellectual superior, and judger of lives that aren't his.

Xant's condensed POV!

Quote from: Xant
I do fighting sport since I was six years old.
My father's done martial arts for 50 years, so he gave me a choice when I was six.
You won't sprain your ankle if you have fast reflexes and good body control. Bonus points if you don't weigh more than a dinosaur.
I'm above 1.7m and 60kg and manage easily enough, albeit with practice.
Every time I've landed on my ankle I've been able to take my weight off it before any damage's been done, because I am an athletic, well coordinated specimen.
You're uncoordinated which led to your ankle being sprained.

Mad coz bad.

Ukemi in every direction come as naturally as breathing to me, thanks to Judo since I was six. I would've simply done either a soft or a hard backwards ukemi.

Concrete with chance of stones lying around, and you would roll your back over it? You know, it is better to hurt your legs than mess up your spine. Bones in your legs will heal over time but if you fuck up your spine in the wrong way, it is all over for lifetime. It isn't very well protected, you know. What's worse, severe spine injury can also mean you won't need legs anymore.

Street basketball. And I've played in worse places. At one spot, neighbors were pissed off because we were making noise and placed barbed wire around the rim and hid it pretty well. It wasn't proper sized so we kids could "dunk" on it. Because we used to play often there we didn't bother to check the basket and I went for a dunk and... it hurt like hell. It wasn't military grade barbed wire, it was more improvised version of it so my hands are still with me but don't want anyone to go through that shit. Very painful, couldn't play for couple of weeks since that incidents. Or use my hands for anything for couple days...

I am not uncoordinated you fool, I didn't mean for the leg to go down, the muscles just gave up! It's true I am weak in my upper body, but I am not uncoordinated, goddamnit! Can prove it to you right now, EU3 lets go, 1lp! Oh wait, you're not Xesta, I always get you confused, my offer stands, though.

You may have some disease affecting your balance if you're falling down all the time. Sounds serious.

Is it because you're scared someone might bump into you?
