No, you made this thread in some sort of sarcastic attempt to troll Zealot because his servers were down. It is quite evident in the OP that you weren't looking for an answer to any question but to spark some sort of drama-fest but were promptly shot down.

The community of this mod is so terrible.

Making the game faster would make the game stupider. If you want fast, make your own native server and set the speed to fast. Keep your bullshit "faster makes it easier" argument off my servers. I am a relatively casual 1h player, and I think it's perfect as it is. chadz already posted in this thread the reason why the speed is the way it is, so just leave it alone.

leg armor: 6

Does this mean if someone were to somehow get the message while wearing five completely different sets of gear, they would then have a negative modifier on every item in the game? (-1 on everything worn during the messages, -5 on everything else)

The term "set" is simply used to denote the gear you are wearing when you get the text. So it is impossible to wear things from different "sets" at once when you are in fact wearing one set. So for instance, imagine I am wearing:

Pilgrim's Hood
Churburg Cuirass
Light Leather Boots
Mail Gauntlets

And I get the chadztext. These items are now:

Pilgrim's Hood +3
Churburg Cuirass +3
Light Leather Boots +3
Mail Gauntlets +3

And -1 on everything else (whether its everything in my inventory or every item in existence, I do not know.)

Now lets say I got really lucky the next day and got it again, but I was wearing

Nikolosjoe Helm -1
Light Mail and Plate -1
Light Leather Boots +3
Mail Gauntlets +3

Now my items will look like this!

Nikolosjoe Helm +2
Light Mail and Plate +2
Pilgrim's Hood +2
Churburg Cuirass +2
Light Leather Boots +6
Mail Gauntlets +6

You can see how wearing a variety of gear will help raise all of your numbers eventually. If you are interested in being your clan blacksmith, you will want to pay attention to your gear craft bonuses and wear a good mix of items every few rounds (or every time you get the text.) Here's hoping there will be an explicit list we can use for reference that tells us our personal bonuses to craft each item; tracking it in your head or trying to manually calculate it all will be a huge pain in the you-know-what! Especially if you missed a message or two for whatever reason.

10-15 feet? Or do you mean meters?
Because...you might as well be using a Pike if you're shooting from that close. I used to be able to shoot from 50+ feet into friendlies without hitting them. I'll teamhit anything at this point unless I'm stupidly close.

No I mean feet. Maybe its just my fighting style as archer. I think its more fun to get real close and shoot from just behind and off to the flank of my teams infantry. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I get more kills and have more fun that way

Or we could leave it open and just rename the thread "Mosh Pit." I like this thread because I am no longer seeing any of the He-said She-said stuff spill over into other threads like it has been this last month or two, as it looks like they are focusing all of their efforts into just dirtying this one thread (for the most part). Kinda leaves the rest of the forums nice and shiny.

Locking this thread will just make them go back to the rest of the forums and start leaving dirt everywhere and creating new threads as usual. :/

Though then again, maybe this is a job for the Intercontinental Moderator Team!

Not trying to. I seriously don't have a problem at that close a range. Further than that it starts to get dicey, but in my opinion you shouldn't be shooting from that far back anyway.
