Title: --- CRPG BICEPS CURL CHALLANGE --- starting monday, may 6th!

I wanna especially encourage young/untrained fellas to join in,  but ofc am happy about everyone else too!

the challenge:
do 15 biceps curls every round of crpg you play. (use a weight to do them quite fast,  you wanna play after all ^^)

the entry:
measure your biceps circumference now,  and in three weeks,  post here along with your application or pm them to me if you dont feel like posting.


the small print:
find yourself something that you can do curls with.  should be a weight of 10-40kg,  depending on your str.  the weight will be right if you feel a small burn after the second or third set.
can be a beer keg,  a broomstick with buckets of water on the side,  even better if you have actual weights at home :D
(post your designated training device with your application)

concerning the performance form:  fuck it.  do those fifteen curls,  no matter what,  just be sure to have a weight that you can comfortably do them with!  Do them quite quickly,  you are allowed to jerk if you want to,  just be sure to not hurt yourself. instead concentrate on getting a burn into those muscles.  at some point, if you are a lucky camper,  that burn will turn into a pump.

I've done this actually. The problem is that when you start to have a good streak and don't get killed in game you don't have time to do the reps.

this is racist , you must play battle only ! and with siege you have 25-30 (don't remember) seconds to do reps when you are defender.

pls torben make a quick training for the siege guys.

actually i was lonly thinking attackers.  Now i know where the "rad" in radament comes from,  sweet idea,  great motivation!  only defenders do reps,  while dead.  same rules,  15 reps per death.


btw lads,  dont forget your glass of milk/hamburger/ shake whatever after playing crpg,  you need that protein! :D

I think push-ups or burpees or mountain climbers or something would probably be a better choice.

And, if you bicep curl in the squat rack I'm going to be a bit heated.

pushups n all that are really nais,  (beer thing also) but,  i think the curls are best to motivate new guys to do it.

why weights? give us some body mass based exercises. or maybe something with hand weights (which you can improvise with water bottles etc...). i think it can be even more effective and it also doesnt cost that much.

Hmm I guess I'll do some kind of crpg training cycle :D. First round = biceps, second round = push ups, third round = sit ups etc etc... All around workout.

I say after this we do squats 25 per round.

Don't worry about the weight this guy has it's the same with nothing on the shoulders.

hell ya mate!  there are days you just gotta do shit different!  arnold once threw an olympic bar n weights into his truck,  drove into a forest on a mountain with columbo and they did squats ALL DAY LONG.  yehaw!.  Im up for a squatting challenge after this one,  very nice!

btw do you do deepsquats and deadlifts in the same meso?  mine are alyways 3 weeks long with a fourth week of deloading and strength testing,  and this 3 week cycle is a slight volume phase,  so I actually am doing deadlifts and squats.  and every day hang cleans,  but only 3x3.  ill have two fucking english oaks instead of legs at the end of the year,  freeskiing  will work like crazy  :D

haha!  nice boys.  if you feel it gets too much,  leave out a day.  but try doing it for the full 3 weeks!

also remember to not overdue it if you do other sports that need the arm muscles,  dont wanna get yourself hurt.

The challenge begings today!

play it smart,  eat enough and if you feel it becomes too much,  give yourself a break of a day,  but try working out for the complete 3 weeks!  I am in a week now and manage quite well.

I'll do 15 pushups every round of battle that I die.  Would mess up my gym routine if I start doing that many bicep curls when I'm at home, and I doubt I'd be able to play c-rpg if my arm felt like falling off :P

Shouldn't this be for people who aren't new to exercising? I hear isolation exercises are bad for beginners especially since it only works one area. Don't want to get huge arms and tiny legs now do we.  :mrgreen: Maybe some sort of compound exercise between rounds, like pull ups or whatever but maybe that would take too long.

although you are right,  the biceps curl is well known,  and because i allow jerking and the weight is low,  this exercise seems suitable to educe interest of new guys to wieght lifting.  : )

well everyone that tried to participate probably felt that it was a bit overkill.  but,  imo,  reaching for the stars helps to at least make it to the clouds,

I had a fun time,  every morning i played i did my good bunch of reps and it felt great.  also was a nice way to start up the engine in the morning,  I felt more energetic no matter if it was for my workouts 2 hours later or my actual work.
