Honestly, I only looked for the best option on heraldic mails. I really only did this because most of AoW are 2h/polearm/cav/whatnot. They don't usually use shields. And testing the old banner, the bird was too big, and too low. I changed it so that it would be higher, and look significantly better on heraldic mail. Even if the bird was not mostly on the shields, at least the stripes would be, right?

Well mate, I am sorry to tell you, but you are using an outdated version of the guard banner, we had an argument about that a few months ago and are now using a new one. Chweck the old threads, it should be somewhere there, I can't find it atm.

Ving from our faction made kind of a hybrid between Arked's and the better 'medieval' looking banners from the Clan Banner Pack. Unfortunately alot of clan banners are too outrageous/modern-looking/flat-out ridiculous to belong in this mod.
I just plan on getting the clans in there so they are represented. If someone wants to make a more quality based banner pack they are welcome to. There's a reason why it's called the 'clan banner pack' and not something related to quality :P As long as the banners aren't horrifically bad, then I see no reason not to include them.

A skull... very saintish. especially one with a greek letter on the forehead... and especially when that greek letter is "Omega" that stands for the End of everything. Yah. well...
I am not really religious at all. But one thing even I understood. Saints are people that you can put your hopes on. that are your light in times of darkness. And they usually are roman/christian. While the greeks got their own gods and had nothing left for saints. they had half-gods. And the skull stands for death while the "Omega" does stand for no-hope-left. Everything comes to an end... yah not bringing much hope.
Excuse my babbling but I just dont like banners that fail the sense of a clan and are there just to look cool. I, too, used to feel cool with satanic stuff when I was 14, so I can relate. But guys. think about it again. It just looks pathetic to the grown-ups.

I checked it in game. It should be red (unless there was another sneaky patch). Make sure you all copy in the script.txt to change the backgrounds.
Edit: Double checked and it is definitely a red background.

Ok so banner pack works. Don't copy in the script.txt as I still need to update that for heraldics. But everything else is good to go.I use the heraldic fix from Warhams mod pack, will let know if that works with the bannerpack.

This system is simply on top. It can't be in any way be worse because nothing is changed.
You can still select whatever banner you please. You can still try and distribute banner packs if you want. Nothing of that changed.
The only thing that changed is that people on top have an additional way of buying a special banner. This special banner can be customized by the clan in terms of image and background color. This also means no one will be able to pick your banner to float with you on the autobalance wave.
If you don't like the system, simply ignore it. Nothing will change for you, except you see other people with new banners.
If you got the gold, you can buy all 147 banners as an individual and store them for all I care. The market will solve that problem. If a single person values a banner higher than 30 guys combined, the single person gets it.

The banner image I found was too wavy. It's difficult to impose an image onto something with such a rough texture. If I could find the banner image used in all the other ones (do you have the link, by chance?) it'd be a hell of a lot easier.Its not hard at all. As designer you should know how to use photoshop and the possibilities. But yes, I got a white texture for you:

After you - or one of your members - bought a slot (you will need to pay ~90k), you can upload the banner in your Clan-menue in the ladder-page of crpg.

You can pretty much make what you want as long as it's not trolling, racism, porn etc. Although certain "modern looking" things are removed. Same goes for what the devs consider "ugly".

Choose some colours - maybe 4. one or two for the background, two for the logo and maybe one for little things in the borders.
