Nah, give them a second chance. Let them do some good work for the community. Like for the next 50 million xp they are capped at level 5 and all their xp and gold goes to gen 1 players?

I guess that's ok too.

They should donate 20 EUR to cRPG for server upkeep.

No. You don't pay money to avoid a sentence unless there's corruption involved.

I don't know where you live, but in Finland it's common that you have to pay a fine for small criminal acts. And Finland is one of the least corrupted countries. But anyway they can get a new copy of warband with 25 EUR, so i think 20 EUR would be enough.

Is stealing considered a minor felony in Finland ? Of course it depends on the price of the items that were stolen/amount of money , but then again , heirlooms are the most precious (hard to get) things for cRPG players.

I seriously don't see why there is even an the argument. If something like this happened in any other serious, respectable MP-Game they would simply get a permaban and off with it. No questions asked.

Only here people are so used to the lobbying and influencing things they (with good cause) should have no voice in whatsoever that arguing about this is even considered. Of course this is a "selfrun" mod without any "real" balancing/testing-team (and this is a load of work, i know) and in this line of thought it could or would sometimes help to let the community be heard...

But this? Its not even hilarious anymore. Its short of ridiculous.
This are just my - possibly a little bit drunken- two angry cents. But at least I tried to keep it troll-free and reasonable.

Or just buy a new copy for 10 EUR in the shop.

The essays reads like it has been written be a retarded monkey wearing plate mittens.

The only thing the guy is sorry about is getting his account banned. hacking ppls accounts is as low as it can get, the amount of hours the players who was hacked had put into this game. For some thoughtless cunts to wreck it all.

SCUM!!!

Perm ban.

hmm...
you mad?

seriously though, if they apologize, delete their chars and make em start over, those hacked get their chars reset with all gens and heirloom points.
problem solved.
my 2 cents

also, i hope this taught the people who got hacked a valuable lesson about security. if you are stupid enough to use your name as a password, refrain from using facebook and the like.

who the hell uses a login name as password
but anyway they should be banned for fucking life, scum of the internet

And that's saying something! My opinion on all of them is the same: keep them banned.
