It's not textured yet, and I'm going to fully remake it to look better.

Heh, you can't decide on the weight and defense bonus as modeler, the devs decide it.

While we all strive for historical accuracy in this game, it is missing a fashion of significant historical importance... The Cod Piece

Used both for formal occasions...

I decided to make an early great lance.

Yet to texture it.
The length igname will be something like 204
It should be like a very very slow Heavy Lance that is more usefull for couching, but can be thrusted if need be.

Hmm.. good luck with the texturing.

Don't want to disappoint you, practice is important. But the game already has a 230 long Great Lance.
(Ah, I see you want to make it "thrustable" too, while giving up some range.
Beware, Anti-cav lobbyists will bite yer head off for even modeling such a thing.)

I guess it's just for practice then. Have fun.

The lance currently in the game looks like something from the very late 1200's, and has a metal part to protect the hand, but the lance I made is a very early 1200's lance which is just completely wood apart from the tip.
The current lance looks best with a great helm, my lance would look best with a full helm like the one I made.

Edit:
Texturing is really hard. I'm going to leave it for today.

I got inspired and downloaded this program.

Just tried out some basic stuff in 2 minutes, I made a stupid "Castle Wall"

Note: It's my first meet with Modeling Software. I warned you.  :)

Attention: Epic Fail Attempt. May cause Eye Cancer.

 :)

It's fun, too bad I know nothing about using it properly.

If you guys are serious about modeling, but don't want to shell out tons of cash, Blender is free. It has WAY more features than you will need, and has more of a learning curve, but it is an excellent tool for developing models and anything else you might need (including making a movie with them afterwards).

Check out the tutorials (and check out the stuff they have done with it).

I tried Blender once, it was much much harder.
And, for some reason I find most tutorials for Warband modelling use Wings3d.

Not too shabby for a first :D

Edit:
I've given my early great lance a very basic texture!

Edit2: Ninja updated, slightly better texture.
