Some light heraldic armour

Hi, didn't find a thread about this, so I start one.

Why is there no light armour, something very light like the padded armour or something equal, with an almost equal amount of weight and stats, but with a tabard over it or with a banner on it?

As an archer I would sometimes really like to wear the banner of my clan, but all heraldic things are too heavy

And i don't think that archers never wore their King's or Lord's banner in a battle^^

There was some thread about this suggestion, but this has never been implemented (dunno why).

But it seems that if you find models there is a chance.

really it would be cool to redo one of the tunic models to do this, maybe change the alpha or something to work with the banner... Im a noob at graphics editing or I would have looked into this myself.

I'm not really sure how graphic design works in Warband, but if you set a heraldic color like how you set a transparent color in photoshop, couldn't you just use anything with a large section of one color as a template?

Just a shot in the dark, but maybe there could be an option on the website for whether or not to color your armor with your heraldry or use the default textures (whichever looks better).

IIRC its the same process needed to make heraldics armor, and its a lot more complicated.

dude there are hundret of threats already that demand heraldic leather, padded armors or heraldic tunics.

i still wonder why the devs didnt implement such heraldics yet..

because no graphics chodes have made models for them to use yet. submit them a model and they will likely add it.
