He is going to release it when he feels it is ready. You should be very grateful he gave any estimated time of arrival, but yet you complain when it doesn't arrive right on queue. Have some patience.

You probably arent one of us that have been waiting for it for 7 months.

I've been playing C-RPG since before there were NA servers, but I never took the opportunity to play strat. So in that respect, I will not speak as though I have been patiently waiting for the return of strat since it went down. However, I have been waiting two years for Shadowbane to return since it went down. Yet I still don't impatiently ask "Why is it not done yet?" when I know that the answer is simply "it is not ready".

Well thats just you man, apparently you didnt do play strategus alot, but some of us fought like 2-5 battles per day and it was lots of fun so we are becoming kind of impatient after 7 months,  the whole dukem nukem case reminds me of this... Maybe we will have to wait a shit load more just to have a shitty mini-game that will be worse than the old one , but I still have my hopes up.
