which one is it? Malus for everything you don't wear and bonus for all the set worn or bonus for one random item and malus for the others you are carrying?

Pretty sure it's a +3 to smithing all the items you're carrying at the time you get chadztext and a -1 to all other smithing skills.

Okay I don't mean to hijack the thread, but can someone explain by-the-by what chadztext is?  I've never seen any mysterious text in my game before (but I play on NA all the time).

I had chaztext with level 30, 2 times (last gen) and never before.
So I don´t think it´s dependet on the level...

hmm i have better idea, how about we donate some more money, so we can pay chadz a airplane ticket to middle of atlantic ocean, masterwork shovel and a few bags of dirt so he can go and build a artifficall island where he can place server to host na-eu battles,

Actually, AFAIK they don't have any advantage from that system anymore. When the change came everyone's XP and loom count were changed to reflect a state of them having played under the new system all along. It's almost certainly true you'll never catch up, but it's not because of old retirement, but simply due to those people having spent ludicrous amounts of time grinding.

well only reason I have as many hierlooms as I do is because once upon a time they were super easy to obtain (retire at lvl 15?). so you are basically just wrong. plus didn't you guys just make pub crawl to exploit ludicrous strat exp gains?

but I only hope peoples heirlooms wont matter in strategus, and it sounds as if they wont so whatever.

What does chadz and okin mean by "chadz text"?
Because if chadztext= "all thine work has paied of" that may be pretty damn good to be smith skill ^^
