Considering "chadztext":

Will the level of heirloom in cRPG affect the ones you can forge in strategus?
For example if you have a +1 Tribal Warrior Outfit in cRPG, can you forge all the way up to +3 in strategus if you have the mysterious "smith skill, or is it limited to +1.

no, as far as we know crpg looms won't have effect in strategus smithing. Levels of chadztext will influence looms quality but we don't if it will be a 1 time chadztext = 1 loom level or if you need more chadztext to be able to make a loomed item

We know that everytime you recieve chadztext you gain +3 "lvl" smithing for the specific item but -1 "lvl" for everything else you are wearing.

In this post it seems that chadztext just store everything you have up when you get it, where does this information come from?

technically not a question, but anyway..

(click to show/hide)

So your getting punished for not wanting to retire and just play the game for fun, instead of playing for looms, or not having the time to grind over and over? I dont see the logic. Lets hope this smithing is nothing special, or else alot of people are gonna get hit.

well this means too that skip the fun char will not be able to smith?

Also if it´s permanent that means ever retire grinders will have more chance that casual or go to lvl35 char. Strange this doesn´t fit in the general communist spirit of the mod.

Its fair.

Either get a huge leveled 35 character to give a bit of a edge in the battlefield or a normal 30 char for making weapons and anyway now with the respec as soon as you hit level 31 you can respec and become level 30 ;)

So you think everyone skips retiring because of they want a high level toon? Alot, including me, do it because of just playing for fun and not wanting to start from scratch over and over..

tor i think u misunderstood him the respec brings you from 31 to 30 so potentially you can stay at 30 forever and still get chadtext

So you actually get bonus only for one of the items you are carrying when chadztext triggers and malus for anything else you wear? Or the malus is for the all the other items you are not wearing?

Yes, quite simply a counter to grinding smith skill...

i hope your being sarcastic. with all the changes in retirement systems new people will never be able to catch up with other peoples 50 mil exp or 20 hierlooms because those people abused old broken systems. crpg needs a new wipe.

No, because u can not use your Heirlooms in Strategus...

Just your Char. A Char with 64 Mio EXP is only level 34.... ;) you are 31 with just 8 mio. So there is not that big difference...
And!!! Most guys went für multiple heirlooms and not level 34+.... so u do not have to be afraid.

Actually, AFAIK they don't have any advantage from that system anymore. When the change came everyone's XP and loom count were changed to reflect a state of them having played under the new system all along. It's almost certainly true you'll never catch up, but it's not because of old retirement, but simply due to those people having spent ludicrous amounts of time grinding.
Don't.
