You showed us screens and videos of destructible walls.
Will this feature be in the next update (not the relaunch).

You said Harald is updating the Strategus Page.
What features are a new and is there a new design of the gamemap?
Could we get some Screenshots?

Do you plan to implement some special weapons for strategus.
Perhaps some with the old Bonis we can fight for and use in normal CRPG?

First things first: you know I couldn't resist ;)

so anyway, here is the real reply:

About battles - will there be capturable spawns in all battles? If yes, what happens to the losing side, once all their spawns get captured? Do they lose all of their tickets and stuff, or do they simply lose a part of their equipment or something else?

I am with PTX. Is there thought of a way to counter the inevitable advantage of ranged due to tickets?
That means conquerable spawns with forced retreats etc. And then what happens to the losing side who had tickets but lost its spawn?

Men will have a lot more value in the next strategus. It will be (at least in theory) be much harder to acquire men. Men also will take food every day, so you need to bring resources with you.

To the question: yes, there will be capturable spawn points. You can select your spawn point as the owner, and disable enemy spawn points. We hope that this will give matches a more... tactical touch. Once you've captured all enemy spawn points, the enemy will retreat. This will definately come with a penalty, but it's not yet sure how hard this penalty is. You will definately lose some equipment. You could lose all equipment. You could also lose some men. Truth to be told, the detail about this can only be established once the game is running, to see how it goes with real players. But you will definately not lose your whole army, because that would be highly unbalanced.

Then, the question about the ranged: I don't really like how ranged was in the last versions of strategus. We hope that the capturable spawn points help - if not, we will take actions so ranged isn't the only class viable for strategus. We hope for a lot of melee skirmishes. And there might special ranged nerfs for strategus until melee are more important than ranged.

I think that capturable spawn points wil reduce the archers on strategus battles, but not the xbow users :)

Question for tomorrow:

Have you made or got new "custom" maps, like many of the town maps are realy narrow and smal. And have theese been betatested before the release ?

Will there be "weather" on the strategus map? Climates, seasons and so on? And if so, will there be anyway to "predict" it, or at least track where it's going (if it indeed is a such a weather phenomenon that can be tracked, like a storm).

how time-consuming will it be?
would you have to be constantly online in order to fight battles at odd times all the time, or will it be more casual-player friendly?

Is it possible what players in Strategus will have their own equipment? (from cRPG)
At least one of them (by their choose). Of course this question is about heilroom stuff.
For example have a "own" weapon\armor till first death (so only first spawn player will be equiped with the "own" selectef stuff).



This question is very important for many players, because in any cases - we must to know how to train for Strategus.
Only with "normal" weapon? If answer NO. Or with both ("normal" and "upgraded" version), if answer YES.

will there be siege equipment usable on castle seiges (other then already on map) meaning can i buy a siege tower and a catapult or a battering ram or something like that?

Will alts be allowed in Strategus fights as mercenaries ?

(I remember the answer was no but it was a long time ago so I'm better asking again  :P)
