How can I add light sources to my scene? I see torches and such but no light comes from them.

You need to add a combination of the objects 'torch' and 'light' over one another or 'torch_night' and 'light_night' if you only want them lit during night time.
Maybe you are not bad, but you are a boring person. Well, that's the end of the matter.

Ok thanks. Also, is there any prop that acts as an invisible arrow catcher? Like a barrier specifically for projectiles?

As far as I know projectiles go right through barriers and only stop when they hit a solid object, player or fall out of the map. I dont know if there is an invisible projectile stopping prop, if you find one let me know! :)

Pretty much, 'light_sun' is extremely bright comapred to the 'light' prop.

The best thing I can think of is one of the net props, as those the players can see through, but arrows stick in.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

there is a semi translucent battle damage item that if u scale it up it gets more and more translucent i dont know if u can use it to stop arrows tho also the porticlus blocks arrows so u could scale it way way up and use the boxs (between the wood) if scaled up enough would create a pretty big opening but u can only use it on ground level obviously do you want it as a window or something or what is it going to be used for i can get some ideas next time im in the editor later today

I actually can't say too much as this map I'm working on is pretty unique and I wouldn't want anyone to take any ideas and produce them before I do. However, I want to integrate a prop that can block arrows/people inside of a prop that cannot. So, the prop that has no physical boundaries will be visible, but the prop that does will be "inside" in order to give the illusion that the prop does have physical boundaries. Can you understand what I'm saying?
