Viewing Heirloom Modifiers Before Upgrading?

Since we have to pick our heirloomed items now, is there a way we can see their modified stats before accepting the change? Previously we could see every item in their current/future state to compare. I don't want to click one and find out the hard way.

How do I go about picking new items to heirloom?  I have a Gen 3 character and a couple of Gen 2 characters and I don't see an option to heirloom anything.  Also am I screwed on my Gen 3 guy because I sold the heirloomed items I had before the big patch?

I have the same problem... I'd love to know what my pick would become after Heavy, and see the stats.

you have to retire to choose an heirloom, level 31, and yeah, it's still the same Zanthos... ;)

They are talking about the current 'refunded' heirlooms. You just get a big text list of items to heirloom, not the nice comparison you get when you actually retire.

It really sucks because a ton of items have changed their stats, heirlooms are now a big deal to get, so people don't want to just blow their shit without knowing what they do.

plus you don't know if the item you choose will be changed soon again.

I don't think it will make a difference in what I pick in the end. I get by fine without heirloom items. I just need to figure out what I will use the most in non-heirloom status and I'll go with that regardless.

hey to update your thread.

I just reached level 31, and I just retired, you'll be glad to hear that when retiring, it is just like it is pre-patch, so it shows you the available items for heirlooming and the new heirloomed stats. Seems the heirloom reset was the only thing that didn't show us the new stats for weapons.

Thanks for the update. I'm 29 right now. I made this thread when I was 27 and I wanted to re-invest the Fasader thief points into something before I hit retirement. I'll just wait until 31 to see what the future stats will be and decide then.

Pick your heirlooms based on sentimentality.  That's what I do.

To find out all information about heirlooms do the following:

1) Start single player
2) Go to campaign map
3) press ctrl + ½ (above tab) to access console and type "cheatmenu"
4) Go to the first low menu on the lower left... can't rember the name... camp?
5) There u have cheatmenu and u can find all the items in crpg. It has all the heirloomed items also. Press ctrl + x to get money to "buy" those items and u can test them.

I do this when I want to plan my characters and test weapons and such.
