chadz i have a question for you.
I'm hosting a conan exiles server , and the perf are shit because most of the server side engine runs on a single thread :

Did you manage to bypass this restriction , or is it the same.
Because if it's the same , your game won't be playable above 30-40 players...

UE4 CAN perform good with 50+ players, but it's up to the devs experience and time to make it work properly. I wouldn't expect good performance in a game such as this, barely any game (even with bigger budgets) of this type has good performance on UE4 so I'm guessing it's not easy to do.

More I think of this game, worse it gets. Atm it is somewhere around Apex Legends, but could go even lower.

Yep , you just forgot one thing. IT's a crafting/building survival game like ark atlas and conan exiles. And having big buildings and and lot of corpses tends to hugely decrease server side performance due to poor multi threading...
