Not that this really matters, but some of those 'selfish' votes might not be as selfish as they originally look.  A lot of people retire to completely new builds, and I'm guessing this recent data is only showing their most recent spec.  I know that I voted in this thread when I was a 2-H, and I'm currently a 1-H/Shield.

So in reality many votes that might look selfish could have more context behind them.

(for the record I voted for cav and throwing buffs, the two classes I've never really played much)

Other than the crpg's populations general opinion, the data doesn't seem very helpful to guide balancing decisions. Mostly cause it seems like it'll take some fairly inventive statistics to get anything useful, and even then you'll need to actually test it first in game.

You are correct. The data as posted takes into account everyone's CURRENT main build. (I searched for my self and found it and it was under 2h/pole rather than the 1h/xbow/cav/ha) Remember that!

Some notes:
There's approximately 10-15 votes that are counted in there with NO class(those are towards the bottom)
That spreadsheet is 'alphabetized' starting with 1h and going down to xbows.
If that link doesn't work, try again, or clear your cookies.(I have checked it and the link is to the correct data....for now)
This data doesn't include analysis. I just couldn't figure out how to set up excel(not the google docs) to organize the data into a bar/pie graph or something like that. If someone else knows how, go ahead. Otherwise, if you just wanna see what 1h wanted nerfed/buffed/untouched you can go to that spreadsheet.

As for the  Pure Archers, the only variable i've calculated as of now. (Out of 73 entries)

Horses: -13 (Want a Nerf 17.8%)
Armor: -3 (Want a Nerf 4%)
1h: 7  (Want a Buff 9.5%)
2h: -2 (Want a Nerf 2.7%)
pole: -12 (Want a Nerf 16.4%)
shield: -11 (Want a Nerf 15%)
thrown: 13 (Want a Buff 17.8%)
bow: 29 (Want a Buff 39.7%)

Haha, so basically what you are saying is that excluding throwing which was a consensus, archers mainly voted to buff 1h and bows? Go figure. I expect all the results to be much of the same for each class.

I'm either 807 or 810. There are only 5 people listed as "Throwing" .
Don't reward people for the way they voted. There's too many different factors and it doesn't make sense to do that. Throwing actually does need to be buffed, but if we had "selflessly" voted only to buff other classes which don't actually need buffs then we'd be voting for further imbalance instead of balance.

If you are going to reward people, reward people who only voted to buff the most agreed upon aspect (throwing) and nothing else, as they are clearly the most interested in actually balancing the game.

I voted buff armor and nerf 2H, but I oft play 2H and rarely use armor because you really don't need it to play effectively (unfortunately).

This poll is a joke and only serves to create new arguments and distractions.

As the #9 vote, i would like to note that i voted for polearm nerf while playing polearm character.

Best way would be changing Soak and Reduce values, like Urist suggested (HEAR HEAR).

i was pure 2h while voting, now i am polearm, i voted to nerf polearms and i have to agree with that even more as i start getting high lvl ) anyways, the 1hers mostly voted nerf 2h/poles, from the looks, and buff 1h, i guess a lot of people here have l2p issues good 1her is the only thing i fear now

I am 1h and i didn't voted for buffing 1h, they do fine or even too good (elite spamitar, that khergits sabers).

Well it have weaknesses like that I am thrower and it's obviously that throwing needs buff so I put buff throwing... now its failed cuz it will be counted as nerf throw lol

yeah me too.
i'm not a thrower myself, but they really got an overnerf and need to be rebalanced.
