Leave people alone who found meaning and purpose in being unpaid admins / chief propagandists for the chadzian reich. He believed in them when nobody else did.
Donkeys also signed away the rights to their own project. And for what? A 1 year group vacation in ireland? Money issues didn't stop them from working on the game for like 4 years, before they decided it's time to make a profit. So, why couldn't they have gone on like that instead of selling everything? I'm not convinced they were really unhappy with how things developed. There was no more money in OKAM and what they got was a pretty easy way out. Their 50€ toilet paper certificates must have made them something around 30-40k €, which isn't much for paying the whole team. The kickstarter failed. EA money and whatever GMG provided was soon exhausted and there was no real prospect of the game becoming popular again. So, getting kicked out, starting over and not even having to explain anything because you are not allowed to, seems pretty convenient for them. Not to mention they also got out of their obligation to pay out the returns for the certificates (I'm not a lawyer though ^^).
