I play this game as archer almost 10 years, including almost 6 years in this mod.
And i still rly like it, why i must change it coz all what can "brave knights" is crying on the forum 
thats the problem with you "dedicated archers"... you never play anything else religiously. I am truly sympathetic (just kidding, I really dont care about anyone except myself and my own success in all things in life) that you assume something like a 'Class portion limiter' would stop you from eeeeever playing archer again.
but it wont! if you want to play archer if a balancer like this was implemented, just hop on EU1 and if you are prevented from playing archer for the next few minutes then just go play infantry until an archer leaves or something
like I play pretty much all classes. I main 1h, which is what i play the most, but sometimes im feeling 2h, so i have an alt for it, or im feelin cav, i have an alt for it, or im feeling ARCHER, i have an alt for it.
nothing wrong with a little spice in your life.
plus why play archer so much in a game with very mediocre archery mechanics when can enjoy the highly intricate and nuanced and subjectively and beautifully personal art that is melee
