Even when we had servers reset every week or so there still was lag, something is going on with the mod itself that is beyond my expression capabilities, maybe something about the scripts in the mod as someone suggested in some other thread earlier.

Ah I see what you mean. Before his disappearance Dupre mentioned to me that he thought he was close to finding out what might be causing that lag. He mentioned that he thought some of the changes Tydeus had implemented could have been the cause. I believe he thought a revert to a previous version of cRPG could fix it.

If it is possible for us to look into this problem and fix it we will.

I don't know much about this Tydeus guy apart from our trade agreement on strategus. But the public opinion suggests that he's the root of all evil and he's responsible for every fucking mistake that's ever been done in this mod. I bet he secretly founded Krems too, and fucked Oberyn's mom some 30 years ago.

Okam had 70 player recently, which is pretty desent
I thought the same back in May, but even though they made unexpected progress and had a playable version working before anyone expected, that same night there were over 20 people in EU1 before we'd even spread the news.

Maybe that was the last nostalgic gasp since the servers had been fully down prior to that, and maybe that was our last chance to capitalise on it. Or maybe we're just wrong and people like playing cRPG. I know a handful of guys willing to spend the time either way, fair play to them.
Yeah, and how long that lasts on EU?After 2 weeks it was dead like before. PrideofNi once managed to gather around 40 ppl to play 1866 mp mod (great mod, btw) game, but can it be called a revive?
I can't see anything that can bring players back to play this regularly.

NA and China were both able to get populations up near 80 players in primetime. That is with no patches and nothing new being added to the game. I can't say for sure whether EU will be populated again. That being said I believe if Horns is able to fix the patcher and we can add new gear and bug fixes, that the populations of all three regions will grow consistently.

Fixing strategus is a more long term goal but if we are able to bring it back online aswell it will no doubt also bring veterans and new players alike to the mod.

Checking the stats in July before Dupre went MIA there were between 500-600 unique accounts playing cRPG per day. If we can get that kind of traffic with no patches I am confident with good patches that we can fully revive the mod.
