India not for few decades but you guys are betting on India to displace role of China. India blames UK for everything, although I'm sure it was filthy place before Brits arrived. It is certainly not filthy because of technological waste, they aren't yet on that level.
China on the other hand is already there, technology they create these days is quite advanced compared where they were couple decades ago. They are on same level as Japan or Korea in that regard. But since they are producing everything which means they need to extract elements, China is ecological disaster.
One of main goals of Trump is to bring back some of heavy industry jobs back to USA, despite that meaning creating filthy environment.
Thing with China, they closed down in last few years and it is hard for anyone to track what they are doing on state of the art technological research. But I doubt they are lacking manpower or funds to make discoveries, this is not Mao's China when they had to make homemade shit steel from ore they dug up from their fields, to prove they are progressing technologically.
USA still imports shitload of quality engineers, although I'm sure some of them will choose EU as their destination due to Mr President talking shit about colored people. Trump voters on the other hand aren't tech folks and can't push the country forward in any meaningful way.
