My beard always looks like my mouth grew some pubes. Life is unfair at times. Have to immediately shave that crap whenever it manifests itself.
try getting hair clippers and always trimming your beard with the number 2 guard. no matter how pubey your facial hair is, it'll keep it just short enough that it won't start to look gross but keep just enough length that you have more than stubble. it's the simplest thing you can do (a trimmer is like $5 if you find one on sale, razor blades are literally the same price for a single blade) and it'll up your aesthetic big time
