I turned 31 on 4/20, I own a house(or does the bank own me wait a sec
) own 2 new cars(well 2009 and a 2011), have a daughter(she'll be 2 in a few) and been married for many moons now........................................... have been working basically full time since I was 16, and moved out at 18 for real! (I actually had my first apartment for 6 months when I was 16, but didn't make it lol)*great story tho*
being young is actually very cool for gaming because it gives you alot of time you can play, as an adult with a full time job and a yard/house to take care of you'd be surprised (not to mention a wife and kid to pay attention to)
when I was a lil kid we had intellivision, colecovision and atari came out later lol, I remember around late eightie's when the NES came out and how amazing the graphics were (I know the kids are gonna lol on that), I first played on an early ibm computer games Nox had made(he actually made some of the first games lol as he is about 16 years older than me and a programmer) I fondly remember my first personal "gaming" computer (a commodore 64) and later the amiga and every x86 I have owned (I started *helping* build family computers with a 386 back in the day)
I remember DOS and the real great games of the past, playing online MUDs and TRADEWAR's when I was 12 then UO beta, so much has passed, I've really been fortunate to see and live through the dawn of computer gaming
It's funny my 12 year old nephew was telling me he wanted to join a clan the other day because they were so cool, and I asked "Cool, man, who?", and he goes "LLJK", kids today!
