If the Gobblins puss out

We have a lot of tiny factions.   Factions that have their own hopes and dreams.  Quite frankly, I always thought it was too early for 'mega-factions'.  Let's just have our own little wars.  Most of us don't give a fuck who we fight, but we do care deeply about how we look on a map.

So I'm thinking friendly little wars.  We all try to dominate, and when we realize we can't, we join forces.  Then, in a month or eight, we all side up for one side.  And then we fight to determine who will own the map.  Personally, I think its awesome when people accept defeat and join their victors.  Pussy whining 'hate them forever' BS is soooo 'internet'.

Let's all act like medieval kingdoms.  No rage quitting (though boredom quitting is a problem).  Accept defeat like gentlemen, and accept vassalage.  If you 'don't like the guys you gotta work with', then fuck off.  You are a pussy whiner, and have no place in a medieval war simulator kinda thing.

So says I!

As someone about as far removed from strat, while still participating, let me take a stab at what's happening (I don't really know anything specifically).

There's not a lot of people who play crpg, it takes a lot of effort to coordinate a strat faction, and then to see neither side able to fill a roster, makes some people rethink the time and effort they're putting into the game.

As for me, I just move my guy around the strat map, and can't really participate much in battles/sieges, so I'm not too invested one way or another.

I hope people won't just give up on the game completely, since I still love crpg and full strat battles, but the truth is that the player populations have been dwindling, and not having a properly updating crpg client has only contributed to that (which it looks like it might be fixed, since it updated last night before I got into a strat battle).

to be perfectly clear the only gobblin who has pussed our was our once inspiring leader, DARUVIAN_GOBBLINSHAMELORD, i and many others have been passionately campaigning under the gobblin banner that has now abandoned us.

we are in foreign deserts far from home surrounded by enemies with no one to relieve us.\

ILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING

If I must, I will rise to the challenge!  If you would have me be your gobblinking I would promise death, fire and destruction across all Calradia.  May all the horses be raped, the women torn down, and the houses burned. Our memes would blind our enemies to their own destruction!

I sat all strat doing nothing because I didn't want to do anything- then I got talked into being a 'king in name only', and breed the odd troop or two.

Then I got interested, started doing some trading and buying some gear, then I got sent to Europe because I decided to go out one night rather than stare at my computer screen.  But, along with all the new players of the 13K, who may or may not be AFK, we are slowly catching up.

But I am glad to hear not everyone from the Gobblins are quitting.  Though I would like to see you guys split into several factions.  It gets tiresome fighting the same people all the time.  I would dearly love to attack some of dearest allies, just to see the look on their face.  But I can't, and they can't, as long as the Gobblin threat is there.

I see the Gobblins have split their empire up.  To all the ex-Gobblins, I sincerely thank you for staying.  Hopefully now the political landscape will be more interesting.  And perhaps there will be a need now for mercenary armies, which is what I had hoped to do this strat.
