yeah, it was pretty epic.  At one point halfway through we were down 1800 tickets (scaling of 9:1 with max 50 mercs is retarded by the way).  They had much better gear (heraldic mail and over 1500 xbows) and more tickets and were defending a castle and we barely clutched it at the end.  You should have heard the hooraahhing afterwards on vent.  Really great and fun fight (also the biggest one in new strat to date), wish we could have fights like this every week like in old strategus (troop production too slow now).
