The only logical reason, that I can think of, for the Gobblins accepting James/Acre is to fund upcoming battles with CRPG Gold. Let's face it; How many of these other Strat factions are going to be able to get a competent roster vs Gobblins backed by Merc faction (Allers, Miley, Knightmare, Tim, Skinboat, and Thumper) via Acre gold. I'd like to think of myself as an optimist but some serious cosmic shit would have to align to get past; 1) LCO team work 2) Draculs support players and 3)Payed Merc solostars

Rat races; it's predetermined that the fatter rat outruns the weaker rat, yet both exert an astronomical level of effort, all for a tiny bit of cheese that won't even make up for all the running.

With more peaceful mergers, every next Strat round becomes more like a rat race.

You guys should hate each other more. It would make lurking Diplomacy more enjoyable, and with more small rather than a few large factions, it's less obvious who is gonna win. I thought NA Strat is better than EU Strat. Try not to form an NA UIF please.
