Most of the American national brands (all the Lites/lights, etc) all taste like piss water.  But there's now a ton of craft and local breweries all over the country.  If you want good beer in liquor stores or on tap in bars, you typically can find it now.  Unless it's a really podunk bar you're at.

I won't be satisfied until I can find multiple varieties of Bock year round.  Summer time is kind of shitty at bars in Murica, but winter has some awesome beers.

In Vancouver you can't find the big brewery beers in the bars.  It's all craft beers, which is great, except there are so many I get them mixed up.  I like my beer like I like my women: cold and bitter.  And unfortunately there are a lot of beers that are sweet and fruity that have similar names to the swill I drink.

But the small northern towns still carry their Molson and Budweiser, but in 50 years or so they'll catch up too.
