I'm kinda wondering which would be more useful irl... Judo or wrestling?
Tbh... I'd probably go with... hmm... I can't really decide
Both have their perks tbf.
As an adult, Judo, little question about it. Wrestling is too specialized with sporty rules, plus Judo throws and takedowns are very useful when you're against someone not wearing spandex (i.e. everyone you'll come across in real life). Dedicated Judoka have insanely strong grips, too.
As a kid, it depends. Wrestling is usually better for athleticism, which is more important to kids than techniques.
Wrestling is a sport, Judo's a martial art. If you want to use it for fighting, Judo gives you more leeway in how you do things. If you're a good wrestler, you'll get things done too, though, and either way you can't go wrong.
