What kind of pathetic person browse Internet in search of life guidance?

Someone who didn't get any from their parents
Women cannot be autistic, because that implies otherwise well functioning brain to be impaired in some way. We know that women posses no such thing.

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far

Implying parents are a good source of life guidance just because they managed to rub their genitals together.

I mean, I'd trust my parents a lot more than angry internet virgins.
More fool you. Your parents are not to be trusted.

Maybe they shouldn't rub their genitals together, at least in your case.

While my relatives taught me a lot of good things, they had little relevance to the real life. A kind of "work hard, be nice to people, good prevails, meek inherits earth" mix. It's all very nice, but I have to admit that my personal interaction with the world and it's inhabitants taught me better and different values.

Imo going boldly through life is what teaches one most. May be some are lucky to have cool parents who are up-to-date with realities of the world, but unfortunately, it's mostly like Xant said. I don't insist, that's just my pessimistic view of things :)

World has changed dramatically since they were young but some experienced advice really makes sense older you get.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

Are most people a good source of life guidance? No. So why would most parents be? How many have grandparents with totally fucked up views on things, or archaic opinions on how things should be?

Because you share the same gene pool and they are your own folks. In life there is no right and wrong path in case you haven't noticed. Better listen to those who are close to you than some cult of Internet bundle of stickss you've never seen in your life. Parents will stick to you no matter what, those Internet bundle of stickss won't help you in most cases unless they have particular interest.
