Siege event every Saturday or Sunday?

So i'm thinking of creating a weekly or bi-weekly event Saturday or Sunday on the Siege server, both EU and NA. Couple of my ideas:

-on-going siege tournament using a point system(kills, performance, wins, etc tracked)
-adjust the map rotation on both EU and NA to about 3-5 of the best siege maps. I can also add maps at anytime.
-prizes
-I can pass out equipment to specific players/teams, so we can hold events like a Strategus battle.
-have sign ups on the event forums and set up random teams. Maybe set up new random teams every 2 events, etc

Feedback is needed. I'll also need help to hold these events if we do them.

Next idea is a on-going DTV event, but i'll get to that once we get this event/tournment figured out.

I know you said this sunday im just saying!

and when that pop comes back then this might work well! Where its at right now is nowhere near where it could be with strat reset population! But i can admit you are getting somewhere and trying to make something happen, so thank you.

Also my input would be make sure they are complete random teams cause that sounds pretty fair and announce prizes when you fighure out what they are like 10,000,000 Gold or whatever cause that is what catches peoples eye.

Love the idea, but I worry too many Eu1 freaks don't like siege at all and wont agree with you.

It's worth a try. I don't think we have ever had an on-going event like this.

Remove battle server = siege problem solved.

A long time ago, CHN server, usually on Friday and Saturday night, to carry out siege on the battle server. The largest number of people with more than 100.

Yeah, don't even bother with EU_2. Just switch EU_1 to Siege and give double XP every Sunday.

yeah i can`t agree more with you ,after free respects, HP in square bars,reforging loom points and weekly server reset, merging some glorious Eu2 maps(give poll to community?) into Eu1 could be a another mile stone to get some old players back in this awesome game

Well I don't think the server can switch game modes. You would need an admin to manually switch over to siege, but I wouldn't mind doing that every Saturday or Sunday. I'll add a poll to see what the community thinks.

Good! High Ping can contribute a little strength in addition to battle.
