This is a great idea, alot more practice and teamwork since you dont have to wait 5 mins between respawns!

Yesterday and the day before that, siege was populated quite nicely.
People who hadn't been seen for over half a year (like my friend Brutii here), returned just for the amazingness that is siege.
Sadly, some maps had the chat bug, sometimes one of tueten's maps appears (sorry tueten, but your maps just kill my fps), and then some people leave, only for Porthos or someone else to get an admin to change the maps. All map names are fucked so we never really know what's gonna happen

I hope siege will stay alive longer, It will probably attract a few more old siege players and clans (like ninjas, there were 5 or 6 of them online wich havent been online for more than two months or so.)

This is a really good idea, with a focal point like this and the dormant population of siege lovers that we have, I have no doubt this will be a huge success. Honestly the main issue with Siege now is that the population can't sustain two servers 24/7 and nobody wants to sit there for half an hour alone waiting for Siege to populate.

Depends on what u think a tryhard is. Everyone one siege who is just rushing up ladders and dying directly is for me more tryhard than someone on eu1 running around and duelling people.

This is why I hate siege. There is no point in trying as hard as you can and living brcauase death has no meaning other than a few seconds lost on your team who is probably defense and does not know what the word FLAAAAAAAAAAAG means. I am pretty awful at this game, but I personally find battle more satisfying because you only have 1 life per round. In the end its all preference, I would ake battle over DM/TDM/siege any day,

Everyone loves siege but no one plays it..

I hate siege. It's boring, completely one sided and repetitive, here's what happens in siege every time:

attackers attack a castle
defenders defend
either side wins

Sure, it's similar with battle but at least I can choose which part of the map I want to visit, I don't want to spend literally 95% of the time climbing up a VERY slow ladder or spend it being shot to shit because archers on siege are broken beyond repair making shielder the ONLY route to take if you want to have a shred of a decent time there.

I don't mind playing siege every now and then because change is nice, but I don't love it, I would rather play battle, because at least there, it's not just an endless "who can spam the hardest" game.

That's just my two cents on it anyways, siege just doesn't agree with me, and other people are free to enjoy it, but meh, for me it's just shit.
