The fact I see so much talk about "spoilers for star wars" on the internet is a spoiler in itself. When you expect a twist or important event that people try so hard to avoid spoiling it won't have quite the same impact anyway.

Nope, chadz permabanned him because he's too busy and can't find time to watch Star Wars Force Awakens, but he's too much of a troll not to waste time reading crap we post in here from time to time. And he stumbled upon Clockworks spoiler. Since I'm not particularly interested in that movie, avoiding spoilers is easy because I avoid that topic. Until now, when I opened spoiler Anders left in this thread and have to ask, how is that even remotely important?

Relevant cause Disney is using a lot of that existing canon to make plot points for the movie.

And Chewies death in the old canon was the most hated event ever. The author(R.A. Salvatore), was death threated a shit ton. Lucas told him to do it because,"We need to kill someone off."

Sadly, knowing this kinda made Ep. 8 to predictable. So cliche.

Honestly the movie is a generic enough play play-by-numbers Hollywood type film that I don't see how there is much of anything to spoil.

You'd probably enjoy the new film if you saw it, even as the cynic you are.

However, you may prefer to beat 'the man' and not watch an enjoyable movie instead.

On an unrelated note, there was a character in this new film that was tooooooootally Kyle Katarn but he had a different name. The film was really great, 100% worth getting rid of the shitty Expanded Universe full of Boba Fett fanfiction.
