And he stumbled upon Clockworks spoiler. Since I'm not particularly interested in that movie, avoiding spoilers is easy because I avoid that topic. Until now, when I opened spoiler Anders left in this thread and have to ask, how is that even remotely important?
Relevant cause Disney is using a lot of that existing canon to make plot points for the movie.
Things with Luke, Han, Leia, any children, etc etc. Some events.
And Chewies death in the old canon was the most hated event ever. The author(R.A. Salvatore), was death threated a shit ton. Lucas told him to do it because,"We need to kill someone off."
