Siege
Siege mode is open for discussion. Right now I have some ideas but would like to see what everyone thinks. Below are just ideas and none of them are planned on being added in just yet.
-Ladders added in
-Lower construction material for siege equipment
-Breakable walls like in Strat
-Longer rounds
-New maps made specifically for these changes
Ultimately I'm trying to adjust siege to be a mix of a strategus battle and the GK servers on native(obviously no classes will ever be added). Need some feedback and some new ideas.

I know those things would make siege actually a bit better, but at the moment it would completely destroy every single time it is populated.
So at first, most siege maps are made so the enemy has to take like 2-3 parts and ends up at fighting at the flag. With ladders it will be just like take a ladder, fuck the map and go attack the flag. Would be extremely simple and not really amusing.
If u add catapults and siege towers, there will be trolls. SHITTONS OF TROLLS. They won't be just not contributing to the team effort, they will do their best to fuck up everything. There are some maps where u need some walls n'stuff. If they are shot down, the round would be simply over. And all those ones who build and shoot with catapults for example are not fighting, and we have anyways way too less players!
Longer rounds would probably destroy the balance for most maps, because they are made for a speciffic time and changing them would give the attacker and immense advantage!
BUT: If u make new maps for it, it would be okay, but allways remember to make them for the dumbest expectable player! I promise u everything will be abused.
And actually siege has only one problem, it's the missing population.. If we had like 40 vs 40 every evening everything would be fine
Gotta think about things that could be added! I will probably write something tomorrow!
