Didn't know that the Italian mob took up positive discrimination in 1963.

Those 4 people... does that mean we can maybe create our own family. Like Italian mob, Redneck inbreds, Black Panthers, Hardcore Lesbians? That would be cool...
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

Apparently they will act as lieutenants for your new gang and give you special abilities (sounds like GTA IV with enough friendliness towards your friends you got special stuff from them)

I enjoyed Mafia 2 because it was about the real mob, they should have made this in a casino/goodfellas setting not in New Orleans.

Atleast you won't have Czech ppl spamming in the comments section on Youtube Mafia 3 videos about how Italian Americans speaking Czech sounds so much better than them speaking in English.

I played Mafia II at a time when I had nothing else left to play. I had little hope about the experience I would get, because I am not into games with guns in them and mafia wasn't an interesting theme for me either. Well, I was in for a surprise. I liked it so damn much.

It turned out to be another one of those rare games where I was willing to follow the story and listen to all dialogues. The way the game depicted a mafia henchman's life was quite exquisite in that it was genuine. Hell, I still remember starting every new day, waking up to the damn fucking phone and finding myself in god knows what kind of dipshit this time. I wanted to maul the phone and crush it into bits, though that would hardly solve any problems. Throughout the time I played the game, it felt like I was Vito myself. I felt the pain, neverending restlessness and uphill struggle.

Gawd it was good. I am down for having just a similar experience, not even an improved version. Here is hoping that they won't fail to deliver.

Mafia is a classic, Mafia II not so much but it is very decent game. This however, doesn't look good. Main problem is that it looks to have same bland gameplay like every other generic TPS crap they pop out regularly. Story seems intriguing, don't have anything against mixed race mobster but that gameplay... first Mafia was top notch in that department and came out at least 5 years before its time.

Mafia 1 had a decent-good story. But the music wasn't as good as the 2nd one. And the gameplay wasn't nearly as good as the 2nd one either. And most importantly. Mafia 1 felt like a driving game where driving was the main focus. The driving was annoying as well since you had to keep a check on the speed limit so the cops wouldn't fine you. A nice system but in a game where there's tons of driving it's a bit annoying than challenging. If you're playing a game where you play as the mafia you'd rather have more up close action than driving around like the taxi driver you used to be.

Berenger, it is 30s in America. Not 2015 in some Mexican state controlled by cartels. They smuggle alcohol and they are trying to keep it down, not alert the police on every corner. There is a difference when you are on your own turf, where you call the shots and control the police and when you are on a mission somewhere you can be busted by cops and endanger the mission. There are both those types of missions in first Mafia, as game progresses you can a lit more of those action in your face type of missions.

This Mafia 3 currently has some hilarious car explosion mechanic. Basically all you have to do is to bump any car and it will explode. Dunno what they were thinking...
