Most of the people at that step will just find a free malware removal software instead, because who wants to pay for that shit anyway. Obviously blogs and pages you don't know can't be completely trusted, that doesn't mean the steps to solution are wrong. The step says use a malware removal software, so that's what you do, the choice of software is always up to you. If you can't work around the recommended software then you shouldn't be attempting to fix this on your own anyway.
That doesn't change the fact that your posts are ripe with cretinism and severe lack of computer knowledge.
If you are meaning to tell me that its anything else than scam to click a button thats says: ¨Hey, we have just the program for what you need! its called lockpicker 3.23 anti locker software, and we require you to buy it before it actually does anything¨ Then it is you who is suffering brain damage. There are hundreds of sites that will gladly add some more adware to what already resides on your drive, just because you clicked that shiny green ¨remove adware button¨
If you think that going to safe mode and searching registry entries, startup processes, and files asociated with the virus is dumb, and you would rather download that awfully convenient-sounding software that you no doubt have long lived experíence with (*cough* bullshit *cough*).
You are acting like a dumb goat that thinks xant is somehow cool insulting me on every post and try to copy him, probably to gain popularity brownies, instead of trying posting something constructive. Posting first result your browser has found does not mean you are any smarter, especially since that software is obviously bullshit scam.
already tried this one, didnt help
Did you try the registry, browser plugins and uninstall program directory in control panel?
