Even as a big Star Wars fan, I can't say I'm too excited. I'm more fearful that it isn't going to live up to expectations. You can't be disappointed if you weren't hopeful to begin with, I suppose.
Agreed, having expectations is simply setting yourself up for disappointment. If something ends up being good and you weren't expected it, then it is a pleasant surprise. Win-win, in my opinion. That said, having grown up on Star Wars, after watching this second trailer I've officially boarded the hypetrain. Even the trailers for the prequels didn't give off the same kind of vibes (and well, those turned out bad, so here's to hoping these turn out good).
