I know you guys are tired of reading my walls of text, but that ban has a little story behind it too.

During the latest local elections, there were numerous blackouts just during the vote counting phase. Needless to say lots of targeted modifications took place in the vote counts and most of that is still unpunished. Well, the minister of energy of the time was asked why the hell the electricity would go down at such a critical time. His ridiculous answer would be: "Probably a stray cat or something got into the transformer stations and caused a blackout."

Cats fucking with the electricity network... In a number of provinces... During vote counts of all times... Legit, right?

In that electoral advertisement of the opposition party, you catch a moment of a cat walking by a transformer station and a grafitti on the station reads "We, the nation, applaud you." This is why the state's broadcasting channel, which is literally the government's toy, refused to air that advertisement.

Story told. Flying away in 3, 2, 1...

I wonder, do you think people voting for tardogan are:
-not caring about anything just voting for the party representing tradition?
-ignorant of those problems?
-thinking those stories are lies?
-knowing of those problems but thinking they are of no importance compared to the great achievement great Erdogan made?
-He did what his voters wanted?

Situation in Turkey reminds me more of Italy when Berlusconi was in power. The way a leader can destroy a democracy and the people do not care and keep voting for him.

Situation in Turkey reminds me more of Italy when Berlusconi was in power. The way a leader can destroy a democracy and the people do not care and keep voting for him.

All valid points. Tardogan's voters are duly called "sheep" here in Turkey. They simply love to be herded by a shepherd. Tardogan and his politicians, having heard the analogy so many times, even blurted it out during his/their public speeches and called it a "sheep and shepherd" relation. Did the audience get mad? No. They loved it. After all, they are truly sheep.

What happens is, Tardogan simply makes up a lie off the top of his head during a speech/public appearance and the sheep immediately buy it. Examples would be: I founded university X (truth: university x had been founded 2 decades before he even existed); going to the mosque and reading the Qoran were prohibited after the Republic was founded (truth: no such fucking thing ever happened or was planned); we officially stopped all relations with Israel as a protest against their terror in Palestine (truth: Tardogan has been the most successful head of state in terms of expanding trade and military relations with Israel so far) etc. Just ask me if you want more ridiculous examples. There are plenty.

Also, Tardogan is categorized as what we call "the coffee shop leader". That head of the card playing table you spot in every typical local coffee house in Turkey. These people are best known for talking a shitton of words without meaning. What they lack in genuine intelligence, they compensate with shittalk. Basically a kind of person very similar to an internet troll who loves to win an argument (and often does) by constantly averting the discussion. An intelligent man with manners and actually meaningful words stands no chance against the coffee shop leader. The retards around him will always give him the applause, because he can shit on any valid argument with a loud mouth. And sheep love loud-mouthed retards, who reflect their own identity and lack of intelligence. Who would like to follow an intelligent man that is superior to the general crowd on an entirely different level? Well, seems like not many people in Turkey.

Oh, also you guys probably haven't heard it but we had a nation-wide blackout a few days ago. Fucking nation-wide... And it took more than 12 hours or so for the electricity to come back. God knows whatever the fuck they were trying to cover in the meantime.

Ok. My spelling insecurities aren't letting me go.

That aside, yeah, great job indeed. I believe the status is "to be continued..." right now. Greater jobs might still be ahead.

duh, just make armagam say to AKP that this is about 'historical past and turkish pioneering of online entertainment where people can learn about this period', blah blah blah

It will pass.

Alternatively, they can jump HQ to Cyprus, no problems with taxes, and regulations or stupid governments

When it comes to national revenue generators, they usually drive away professionals whose businesses his fellow hyenas can seize and sustain. Armagan is doing something none of is buttlickers is capable of doing. So, unless things change drastically overnight, I mean as long as truly intelligent and productive people don't pop up around them all of a sudden, they won't be barking at him and his work. That I can guarantee.
